The Singapore Battery Consortium aims to foster strategic R&D partnerships amongst public research performers and industry players in the development and advancement of battery technologies. We aim to develop and catalyze the local ecosystem in battery related technologies through this platform.

Innovating materials and processes for battery performance enhancement.

Battery Cells Production

Prototyping, process, scale up, and manufacturing innovations for battery cells production.

Battery Reuse and Recycling

Innovations in methods, protocols, and technologies to drive the reuse and recycling of batteries.

Battery Packs and Modules

Design, engineering, prototyping, to and testing of packs and modules for safer and higher performing batteries.

The Singapore Battery Consortium will facilitate industry-academia interactions through regular networking sessions, workshops, seminars and symposia. In addition, international experts will be invited to share knowledge and advice with consortium members.

The consortium will partner Singapore-anchored companies of all types – startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large local enterprises (LLEs), and multi-national companies (MNCs) – for this effort.
